Maria earned her degree with a scholarship in Accounting & Finance from Lancaster University, holds a fellowship (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and has been a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAC) since 2005.

With a robust background encompassing six years in the Audit and Assurance division of a "big four" firm in Cyprus, followed by four years as a Senior Manager in another reputable medium-sized firm, Maria joined PGE&Co in 2011.

Currently serving as the head of the Compliance Department and Human Resources, Maria has a pivotal role in maintaining quality control for the firm's procedures. With expertise in compliance, human resources, quality reviews of audit engagements and GDPR, Maria is a seasoned professional ensuring high standards of quality in every aspect of the firms operations.
